Hi Drew I build all wire cages. The rabbits will chew any wood they can reach! I make the cages 20" high,24"deep and 36" wide. Use 1/2 x 1 wire on the bottom and 1x2 wire everywhere else. I put 2 16 penny nails about 30" apart on the barn wall and hang the cages on them.If you want to give them some grass just unhook them and set them out in the yard.Hope this helps. If you need me to I will try to draw some plans and e mail them to you. Good luck.

I would like to add to Bamajohns post. You can go to your local feed store and they could sell you pliers and clips thats used for making cages. You can then go to your local hardware store and be able to buy the cage wire. Making your own is cheaper if you are going to be using quite a few cages.

If you build all wire cages, make sure your rabbits have a block of wood to chew on. If they don't have anything to chew on, their teeth will get too long and you'll have to butcher them or waste money to have a vet file them, unless you're a vet.
