Kirk, how is your back doing now? Did you get ahold of any books? Find any good ones? Those rocks sure can do it to you, I go down every spring after I have been moving them around in my garden. Hope that you are recuperating. Love TRen

Hi Trennie: Thanks for your concern! Well I just got out of the hospital. Seems I'm so stupid I don't know the difference between a hurt back and kidney, bladder and prostate infection! The whole works seems to be infected. I just thought I strained my back but they said this had been coming on for a while then just exploded on me so I ended up in emergency room!! Oh well. Maybe I need some body awareness classes? Ha! Anyway I'm slowly on the mend and looking forward to catching up on these threads....Love Ya Much...Kirk

Yow! Glad you're okay! Don't be too hard on yourself -- if you've had back pain before, of course that's what you would think it was!

Wow Kirk...sure hope that everything is okay!!! We all REALLY missed ya. Take care!

OUCH! That sounds really painful. I hope that you're feeling better soon. I'll be thinking about you.

Hope you are feeling better now that you know what the problem is. I think it is a frequent mistake that people think they have injured their back when they have a kidney infection. At least I saw it a lot when I was involved with hospital nursing. hugs

Kirk, poor fellow, ugh, really feel for you about the plumbing problems, as much as a woman can show empathy about something she doesn't have anyway! Now drink your cider vinegar and take your saw palmetto daily from now on, ya hear?
