PLEASANT GROVE VARSITY BOYS IZ GOING TO REGIONALS WE BROKE THE RECORD ATLANTA HAD WON 17 CROSS-COUNTRY FORTHE PAST YR BUT NOW PLEASANT GROVE IS TAKEING OVER... Atlanta City Cross Country ChampionshipsGrady's girls are Atlanta City Champions. Grady's boys place second./
Grady's girls won the Atlanta City Cross Country Meet today. Grady's boys finished a very close second to North Atlanta.
Both team have qualified for the state championships on November 3 in Carrollton.
The teams will also compete in the Last Chance Meet in Carrolton on October 20, and the Regionals at Northgate on October 27.

Grady Cross Country News 10-12-01The girls qualified for the state meet at the Westover Inviational in Albany, GA Saturday. Both of the teams have now qualified by time for the meet. There are a total of 10 boys and 10 girls AA teams in the state who have qualified at the weekend invitationals. The State Championship is Nov 3 at Carrollton, 8:30 am.
We ran our last regular season meet at Grant Park Wednesday and the kids all ran very fast times. The city championship is next Wednesday, Oct 17 at Grant Park.
We travel to Carrollton on Saturday, Oct 20 for the Last Chance meet. This will be the last chance for many of our kids to run this season. We will pick our final 7 for region and state after that meet. It will be a difficult choice, especially among the girls.
