What is all the steps including legal steps I must take to start a charity group, or for people to donate money through me to feed hungry children and there family.

The easiest and best place to start is with your state's Secretary of State. You must register with them as a nonprofit agency. You will also have to apply for non-profit status with the IRS. The designation will probably be 501-(C)-3, though there is a designation for nearly every letter of the alphabet. Your specific classification will have to fit one of these. You'll also need to get an EIN- Employer Identification. This is the corporate version of a social security number.

Again, the best place to start is with your state's Secretary of State. They will be able to give you all of the information you need to get started.
