Ms. Sul, I have been doing research on the Copland piano works. Many would make excellent short, accessible concert literature. You might also look into Latin American Piano works. One composer, Cosmo, from Brazil, has several wonderful short, extremely easy peices that are really interesting, nice rhythms, and not atonal.
