honestly i think she's dead. the local npr had adam walsh (america's most wanted host) and he chewed out the dc police. everything about this case has the marks of a serial killer. two other woman who fit the same description as chandra, who work in the gov't, who lived near each other, who went to the same gym have all disappeared. i think the ONLY reason the dc police went ass-wild over this case is because of her parents, i hate to say it. hell yes i would want my daugher found but they bowed to public pressure and have just screwed it to hell. so yes..she's dead. but nothing will happen until about four more girls disappear with no one giving a damn before something is done right.

Honestly? Who gives a fuck! I mean, I'm sorry that she's disappeared, and I hope they find her (whatever physical condition she's currently in), but why give her so much attention? Hundreds of people go missing daily... do they get this much attention? I think the fact that she was an intern was just a coincidence... and is the whole reason this thing is getting so much publicity. I'm sorry, but if I hear one more word about whether she's dead and buried under this parking lot or the one down the street, the t.v.'s going out the window.

The only reason I think the case is getting all the press is not so much her parents' interaction, but Gary Gondit's involvement. Come on, the US jumped on the Lewinsky bandwagon, we're just looking for another scandal.

I find, in these situations, speculation is pointless, because, you can guess all you like, but there is only one truth. So why waste the time? However, I saw a report on some tabloid show on Gary Condit and how "CRRRRRAZY" he is. They said he rides a Harley (DUN DUN!!!), lives in the "young" section of DC (DUN DUN DUNNNN!!!!) and, one time (at band camp... sorry) he went CROWD SURFING AT A CONCERT!!!!! (DUN DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!) OH THE SCANDAL!!! The man is over 40!! He shouldn't ... y'know... have FUN or anything. Christ, what a farce THAT report was. If anything, after hearing that report, I had MORE respect for the guy. At least he's not like Strom Thurmond, who's idea of fun is sneaking down to the Five and Dime for some hard candy.
