Hi everyone - I've read here for quite a while, but have never posted - I'm an avid COUNTRYSIDE reader/fan, and am working on getting a homestead up and moving, slowly.....

My question is - I have 13 currant bushes - all producing wonderfully this year. I am making jelly right, but was wondering if there were any other uses for currants? Possibly wine?? If anyone has any ideas/recipes to share I'd appreciate it - Thanks - Rhonda

Rhonda, how about drying some..........they are wonderful for baking in anything that you would use raisins for.

I made a great currant crisp...just like cherry crisp, very good.
