I have three adorable kittens that need good homes. They're female and are littermates and I've had them since they were about 5 weeks. They love people, love to be held, purr constantly and do all the usual adorable kitten things, like bat wine corks across the kitchen floor. They're de-flead, de-wormed, completely housebroken and are mostly indoors but love to play in the yard. They would probably love being indoor-outdoor cats when they get a little bigger. They're completely healthy but do need all the basic kitten healthcare, like shots and such.

Each kitten looks different: one is a light gray tabby with amber eyes, one is a dark brown and orange tabby with light green eyes (she has truly remarkable stripes), and the other is a fluffy part tabby with a white belly and legs.

The only stipulation I make is that these cats MUST be spayed by the time they're 6 months old, even if they're expected to be indoor cats.

Forgot to mention: They're 3 1/2 months old. The gray one really likes dogs, at least the ones she's met, which are ones that generally like cats. The white/tabby really likes kids and loves to be held like a baby.

I thought we we're talking about anarchist kitties being unfairly held against their wills for boycotting the WTO or something. A kitty in America will never be free! They didn't land in the litter box, the litter box landed on them! Free the kitties!

Actually, I was thinking about something along those lines this weekend. Ever thought about how we impose our will on our pets all in the name of love? We lock them up in the house, confine them to certain rooms when we're not home and create a habitual dependance on us for sustenance. It must be kind of like what having a wife in the fifties was like.

Little do you realize...These kittens are actually locked in my basement right now because they're terrorizing my 14-year-old diabetic cat who ended up in the freakin' ER this weekend because they ate all her food and she went into a coma with seizures. These adorable little monsters cost me $503. Of course, they have food and water and all the toys they could ever want, but, really, it's no way for a little baby cat to live now, is it? They should be free to roam the house eating newspapers! Running laps around the living room! Chewing up fake mice!

Free the kittens!
