Since I post here as well as the Christian Homesteader's Forum, I thought I would post this request on both sites. We just found out this afternoon that our daughter, Amy, has Hodgkin's Disease. Amy is 29, married for 10 years and has a 2 year old son. Naturally, we are all more than a little upset today......Please say a prayer for her recovery if you will... Hodgkin's has a 90% cure rate, with alot of chemotherapy and radiation along the way, so we have alot of hope for her but it just breaks my heart that she has to go through all of this. Will definitely continue to pray for Amy and the entire family. The good news is that's a nice high cure rate. I'm sure it will be hard for everyone concerned but God will bring you through. I will also pray for you. As a mother myself, I believe that we have a much harder time when something happens to our children then we do if it happens to us. That's the nature of mothering!

Thank you ALL very much, including those who prayed but did not post (I do that often)...we all feel better now..the monster has a name and Amy is now seeing an Oncologist who told her it is not 90% curable, it is 98% curable..how cool is that??????????? Thanks again..it is so nice to "know" all of you lovely folks.
