At least 20 riders were evacuated from the highest peak of a Six Flags Over Texas roller coaster after the newly-built attraction stalled today.

The riders had to walk down the side of the ride after cars for the Titan, billed as one of the tallest and fastest roller coasters in the country, stopped while they were 255 feet up in the air.

A park spokeswoman said the computer system that operates the Titan detected a malfunction in the ride, which has three trains and five cars, and automatically stopped the ride.

Park workers determined that the computer malfunctioned and were unable to find a problem with the ride, the spokeswoman said. It was unclear how workers would restart the ride.

The Titan opened April 26 and reaches speeds of up to 85 miles an hour, according to information about the ride on the Six Flags Web site.

The attraction has 175 sensors that monitor the coaster's functions, according to park information.

The computer detected the ride was being operated in Texass, a defacto defect, and shut the thing down.

Same computer has now shutdown Baseballs Rangers, Footballs Cowboys, Hockeys Stars and Basketballs Spurs and Mavs. Well Shaq shut down the Spurs but nevermind the puter would have stepped in if Daddy had not laid the wood.

Unfortunately the computer was unable to shutdown the presidential bid of GW Bush, although it was successful in shutting down his brain.

NO, some things should be computerized with human overides.
