hive boxes

Bee keepers, what do the multi tiered hive boxes sell for? I know that many are going to chime in with "I make my own" but this question is for those who purchase their boxes. I have the tools, time , skill, ect and need extra income. Also need a site with the demsions if you know one. Thanx

Man, I love having an answer! It happens so seldom! :D

The first couple are probably what you want but I've included a few other bee-related items just for the heck of it. There are plans for extractors and things at Apiservice as well as hives.

Beesource Apiservices< /a> Bumblebee Nest Box Honey Press

I've got plans for top bar hives too but those are so easy to build most folks go ahead and build their own.

Hope that helps.

Piddle! Darn typos in the HTML! Let me fix that and try again. Wish you could preview your messages ...

ONE MORE TRY! There's a nonprinting character in there somewhere and it took me awhile to get it out. Here goes again, sorry for the other garbage posts. This time I'm checking it out as an HTML file before I send it ... Mitch- You can check out these suppliers online to compare prices- www.dadant.com www.westernbee.com www.kelleybees.com www.mannlakeltd.com

There are many others you could check with but I don't have the addresses handy. Try a search for beekeeping supplies and you'll get some more.

Hi Mitch, I sold 125 colonies for another beekeeper here in Alaska. We sold deep supers for $24 and mediums for $18. They were complete with drawn comb. Tops $5.00, bottoms $5.00 and a feeder pail for $4.00. The complete colony: 2 deeps, 2 mediums, top, bottom board, and feeder pail = $100.00/colony. Hope this helps. I thought I might try selling some at our association booth at the fair but never did try it. Good place to get new beekeepers interested :) tang

Tang, was that just the hive boxes or were there bees also?
