Does anyone have any suggestions for sheep with runny noses? Otherwise they seem healthy, eating ok and active. Just bought a few to train my Border Collies with and the biggest ewe seems to be congested and has a thick discharge from her nostrils. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Might want to take some temps and listen to some lungs. Pnemonia all over the goat boards right now, especially in the south with all the rain and humidity. Vicki

Thanks, I think (:-] How would I know if it is pneumonia rather than some other illness? How contagious is it? Will it transfer to goats? Any recommendations for treatment? Antibiotics, I assume? (How many questions do we get per message?....... - Can't find my sheep book and the little paperback I have is useless....)
