Hey , moved from CT to Ny state .Much cheaper and nicer .I assume its the good job market that moving you there .You may find many small farmettes , not allot taxes and land prices have forced them out .Good luck and enjoy .

Hi Sue, I have lived in Putnam most of my life. I now however live in the town of Brooklyn about 10 miles away for the past 11 years. I myself do no homesteading activities but I am very interested in learning the great wealth of info available on this website. What area near Putnam are moving to?? Hope you like antiques.
