there's always muchmusic.. or mtv2.. or vh1.. those actually play music.. mtv started out playing awesome music, then all of a sudden they developed the taste into mtv sports, real world, and a bunch of other shows.. now it's all pop stars and rap artists.. i can't remember the last time i saw a video for any other artists.. and if they actually made it onto the "prestigious" trl.. they got the boot the next time because all the teeny boppers picked britney or christina.. etc.. you get the point. i'm bitter.. it's a sad day when VH1 is lookin' a whole lot cooler than mtv. i mean, heck they have kane from 92.3 krock in new york on.. he's hot and he actually plays good music.. and sometimes they even have a show where they play heavy metal.. awesome..

I used to like it closer to its start, like junior high/high school era...then around the 17th Real World, and then the debut of TRL, I couldn't stand it...like I really want to see each video with teenybopper messages running across the bottom, "I really love this song, 'cause it reminds me of my ex-boyfriend from when we were in fifth grade..." Argggghhhh...
