What is a good tripod for non-pro usegreenspun.com : LUSENET : Camera Equipment : One Thread |
I have a Nikon N80 and plan on shooting outdoors a great bit as I learn. Please tell me your experiences with tripods and any suggestions you might have. Lusenet is great as I had a misunderstanding with focusing with my camera and got some good advice. Thanks in advance.....Mike

Most people start with something from Bogen/Manfrotto as their first "serious" tripod. Either the 190 with a basic head, or the 055, are hard to beat for value. They're hard to break and easy to fix when they do, thanks to the easy availability of spare parts.
