The book you recommended....."Every Man's Battle".....came in to my local bookstore today.

I picked it up at 11:00 AM.

Did I like it?? I had it read by 5:30 PM today.

Thanks Michael. What a book. Written by men from an "in the trenches" perspective.....with a battle plan that is practical, down to earth, and accomplishable.

I concur with Michael's recommendation. Every man needs to read this book.

Yes....every man. There are two groups of men.....men who admit their sexual battles.....and the other group are the ones who lie about it.

Two many leaders in our brotherhood are losing their sexual battles......too many men in our churches are leading lives without victory....too many men are carrying a guilt that they cannot get away from.

This book.....can change all that.

Here is one of the greatest lines in the book....."instead of asking.....what can I do and still be a Christian.....we ought to be asking....how holy can I be??"

Amen!!! The book created in me a burning desire for holiness in my life. IT WILL do the same for you.

Awesome. I am glad you have read it. I am now taking four men in my church through the book. I also had my wife read it. She was a little dismayed but gained a whole new insight into the male mind that she didn't have before.

Another book equally as good as this is Bill Perkins' "When Good Men are Tempted." Fantastic book. Very Helpful.

My favorite chapter by far from Every Man's Battle was chapter five...Obedience or mere excellence. That chapter was life-changing for me. How about you?
