It's a beautiful thing, Carlos. How are you my friend? When will you be in my neck of the woods (as it were) again?

Oh, I'm alive and well, just really busy the past week, as Messr. Eyeroller correctly notes. What little spare time I've had, I've been getting (re)familiar with Visual C++. That just added to the fun. :)Plus, do remember, we've got that new transmitter coming next week. Lot of preparation for that.

Z,Darkside?
Naw, just economic realities. If you want to write software, you write it for Windows. If you want to use C++, you use Visual C++, bugs and all.
And it *DO* have bugs, trust me. For example, the older 16-bit 1.5 has trouble with FAR pointer math and 4.0 has major problems with local variables in switch()/case statements.
But that's what a system debugger is for. I don't guess at these things; I build the program, then debug them at the assembly level.
The burnt child is likely to be skittish, and I've certainly been burned.
