When Adolph Sutro died in 1898, why did it take 20 years to settle his will? Who contested it? Was it his heirs (wife and children)? Was it creditors? Why was it contested?

Answers

To add to the answer you received from Ron, there has been a rumor that a second will existed, made later than the one in 1882. Clara Kluge and others have affirmed that, but it has never been found, and the rumor proven.
