Howdy ya'll...any northeast Texans here?greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread |
Hi everyone. I finally moved back down to northeast Tx. I was wondering if there are any other countrysiders in this area. Tyler and Longview are the largest towns around here. I'm down south a bit....not quite to Nacogdoches. I'd love to hear from anyone in this area. I've already had the pleasure of meeting Carol and I'm hoping to meet some other nice folks. My interests are beekeeping, milk cows, gardening, sewing of any kind, homeschooling and of course learning and talking to our savior:o). God bless you all.

Hi Amanda, I live in Carthage Texas! If you do not know where it is I am 30 miles east of Longview toward the Louisiana state line at intersections of Hwy 79 and Hwy 59.

I used to live in Texas. I miss it alot. Made the mistake of moving to western Washington chasing money. Have learned that money isn't all you think it is. Going home to Texas early next year. I miss the sunshine and warmth!

Howdy! I'm an ex-Texican, does that count? I'm from Houston, but claim Austin (and Elgin, and Lockhart, and Dripping Springs). However, now I just can't seem to leave the Rockies. I read all the Texas posts just to keep up! Good luck on your new place; that's pretty country up there. dh in nm
