We found a few places that sound really nice near Bethany, Missouri. Does anyone know if there is work in the area? I have a background in Communications/Electronics, but am willing to do whatever it takes (legal) to get back to the land.

If you want to get back to the land on the edge of the Ozarks, Bethany MO would be a good place to do it. Trees, rolling hills, and relatively low property taxes. Not sure what that area has in the way of communications/electronics jobs though. All I know is that they have a Super Wal Mart and a number of motels to choose from.

bethany is in NW MO aways from the Ozarks. the area does have a few Ozarky places but it has a lot of flat farm land too. I was born and lived in cameron for 27 years witch is south of bethany. I moved from Mo about 13 years ago. It can be a beautiful place tho. and a lot of nice folks.Back TH
