From the plainest diaryland entry to the fanciest and showiest of journals, I look for the person who writes it. The pictures help no doubt, but without good, written thought backing them, I would just as soon go to an art gallery. To my way of thinking good example of a heck of a good journal is "Shinkhansen."

I look for and enjoy openness, honesty and the ability to express the deepest depths of one's emotional experience. I cherish a sharp wit and a wonderful sense of humor. Put those two together and it's never dull or boring. I am never impressed by the use of large words or the size of one's vocabulary. I see no use for profanity in any form. I will not reject an entry just because someone chooses to use profanity however. Often times I find something of value there in spite of the need to write profanity.
