I have a daughter 9 years old and playing piano for 3 years, I am trying to look for another teacher for her. Is there any source in the internet which I can find piano teacher? I live in North Bergen in Hudson County of NJ. Is there anyone know any good piano teacher in my area?

You can search on this website offered by the Music Teachers National Association...

http://www.mtna.org/local1.asp

BTW, I'm not a teacher. What do you folks say about MTNA member teachers vs. non-affiliated teachers?

Try www.MusicStaff.com, which is an online music teacher directory.

Also, ask your child's elementary school music teacher if s/he can refer anyone to you.

There are fine teachers who are not affiliated with the MTNA. You just have to know what to look for (in terms of qualifications) & shop around.

You can also try alesson.com If you don't mind the drive into Manhattan, I'll be happy to set up a meeting with you...you can email me privately. Good luck!
