I am looking for information on the parents of my great great great grandfather, Nelson Smith. He was born in Stanly County April 9th, 1809. He married Emaline Hartsell.

His parents were William "Billy" Smith (1767-25 Apr 1851) and Christine Barnhart (25 Oct 1773-?)
