Who's your favorite Muppet?
-- Anonymous, April 20, 2001
Gonzo, all the way. And not just because I have a big nose.

This is so the token response, but I've always had a soft spot in my heart for Kermit.I love me some Animal, though. Oh yes.

Definitely Fozzie Bear.

I am quite the Bunsen Honeydew fan myself. Who can resist that fuzzy green head? And the Swedish Chef was always really cool too.

I think I like all of them... they're all so neat in their own little ways.

Gonzo!

I'm more of a "Fraggle Rock" kinda chick.Dance your cares away! Working's for another day!

You guys ever see "The Bear in the Big Blue House?" I think it's on Fox Family... anyway, the Henson people are behind it, and I KNOW I've heard the Bear's voice in some other character, but I can't place it.And I must admit, when I made the voice connection between Grover from Sesame Street and Yoda... it kinda freaked me out.

Oops... strike Fox Family, insert Disney.

can I just say that I love the Bear in The Big Blue House that Eric just mentioned? I think it's great!and yes, I am 16 in less than two weeks... gee, I need to grow up! ;) hmmm, muppets... well, if we're talking puppets, my fave is Beaker.. if we're talking Baby Muppet Animation series that I still remember, my fave is Animal. grr.

Kermit. Without a doubt.

The Bear in the Big Blue House's voice is done by the same person that did the voice of Magellan on Alegra's Castle (which was a great kids show, I'm sorry they cancelled it.) I think it's clear I've spent far too much time watching kids shows for someone my age..heh..(what can I say, I've always loved kids shows, coupled with a way younger sister from a parent's second marriage...)
And my favourite muppet is Beaker, though I'm also fond of Gonzo, of course..

My favorite Muppet is Scooter by far. He's just like my boyfriend.

Absolutely love the two old dudes who sit up in the balcony and bag the show. After that would be the dog who plays the piano, whose name escapes me at the moment.
-- Anonymous, April 24, 2001
i've never seen the muppets. heard of, yes. never seen. i'm disgusting, i know.
-- Anonymous, April 25, 2001
The dog's name is Rolf. I agree... he's really cool. When I was little, I had a Rolf Christmas tree ornament. It was the tackiest thing you ever saw, but I loved it.

allegra's castle? you mean eureka's castle? or did i miss something?i pick bunsen or bean bunny.
-- Anonymous, June 13, 2001
Eureka's Castle had Magellan. Then there was Allegra's Window, which had its own merits. Of course, the two best Nickelodeon shows ever were Roundhouse and You Can't Do That On Television, but neither was aimed at preschoolers. My mom and sister like Fozzie and my dad's apparently a big Beaker fan. I probably once had a favorite Muppet, but I'm not so sure I do anymore. Sad, really. If I had to pick one, though, I'd go with the Swedish Chef. He cracks me up everytime he talks. =)

Right, Eureka's Castle.. my kids shows just got crossed there..
But oh my goodness, Roundhouse.. that was fantastastic. I saw a rerun of an episode of that like a year ago, I think. That was cool because it wasn't just this engineered crap show, it really involved some creativity on the part of the kids, and I liked that the sets were moving. Prolly fostered my love of sketch comedy...

OK, I'm not going to pick a favorite, because it's just TOO HARD!!BUT, I will ask, who was that one muppet who always threw fish, and blew stuff up? Man, he was a TRIP!
Also, Elmo is bad. He's just Grover with the cute knob turned up too high. When *I* was a kid, there was no Elmo. We had Grover, and we LOVED it!
