Well, as helpful as Jason Frisco was, I guess you'll need a little more help. I got all this info from "The Extraordinary Mr.Poe" by Wolf Mankowitz. His mother: Elizabeth Arnold Poe, actress, died at age 24 of tuberculosis, Dec. 8, 1811. Dad: David Poe, actor, former law student, left his wife and children, died of consumption on Oct. 19, 1810. Brother: William, died of consumption. Wife: Virginia Clemm, 13 when married, 24 when died of consumption. didn't have kids, died in 1849... a mystery surrounds exactly how he died. his life as a poet...? he transferred from job to job as editor...i don't know! he was a poet! why don't you research that?
