I've seen it occasionally at wallmart in the craft section.

Try Miller Bee Supply , Millers Creek, N.C. 1-336-667-7513: or your local bee suppy company! Good luck.

Can you find a local beekeeper? I get my wax from an elderly man that sells honey from his house. You can also try Frontier Cooperative. They sell natural products in bulk.

Mid-con is a company specializing in bee-keeping and candle and soap making. They have a web site, but not sure of the address. Last time I bought from them, wax (unbleached in pound blocks) was $5.50 a pound.Pourette is another source.
Thanks (to I don't remember who.... Altzheimers, lol) for the Frontier posting - I can never remember the name of that company!!!! Their herbs are wonderful, too... And they carry some items that are really hard to find.

Hi, I have approx. 200-300 lbs of beeswax for sale. I don't think you would want to pay freight from Alaska tho :( Most all beekeepers have some cappings wax around they will sell you. It is good pure wax. Call your dept of agriculture and they can tell you how to get in touch with your local beekeeping association. Good place to start, and probably cheaper for you than the one lb. blocks. Here we sell it in plugs (the size around of a 5 gal. bucket) for $3.00 lb. Good luck. tang - Alaskan beekeeper
