Thanks to John Borroughs........'One has only to sit down in the woods or the fields, or by the shore of the river or the lake and nearly everything of interest will come round to him, the birds, the animals, the insects: and presently, after his eye has got accustomed to the place, and to the light and the shade, he will probably see some plant or flower that he has sought in vain, and that is a pleasant surprise to him. So on a large scale, the student and lover of nature has the advantage over people who gad up and down the world, seeking some novelty or excitement; he has only to stay at home and see the procession pass . The great globe swings round to him like a revolving showcase; the change of seasons is like the passing of strange and new countries; the zones of the earth, with all their beauties and marvels pass one's door and linger long in the passing.'

Here are two quotes, both from Henry David Thoreau, that I keep taped to my computer at work.If the day and the night are such that you greet them with joy, and life emits a fragrance like flowers and sweet scented herbs... that is your success.
If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.

Just a little food for continuing thought: "To make a world tolerable for yourself you make a world tolerable for others."

Days of Spring . Well Hello! Come right on in, if you insist, But you had better not mind, the mess. This time of year, there is jolly good reason, that I can't get done all my house cleanen. And that's cause right outside the robin sings as if he's determined that it is spring. And the sky is soooo many shades of blue, and the sun in pink clouds comes shining through. Tell me now, what could I do? but watch the red bird fly between green pine, and witness maroon buds reach to the sky. There goes Robin chasing his lover across the lawn, and the bluebird sings the sweetest song. Everywhere I look, I see buds of Daffadils and Tulips pushing through the ground to visit me. Snowdrops lift their sleepy heads, How could I clean the house instead?! So come right in, if you don't mind, that in days of spring, I leave my house behind. All Love Tren
