Am looking for a rental,$400 or under, east of Bellingham for my son and I. Temporary so we can work to get our acre ready to live on. I've been looking online at realators and all haven't found anything yet. Can anyone help?

I'll put the word out to anyone that I know might be able to help. How far east? Do you need to work in Bellingham? Could you also consider Skagit County? How flexible are you on rent? Would you consider some work/maintenance in exchange for rent? (Rents are kind of expensive in WA state sometimes....) Also, could you live in town for a while?

I don't have to work in Bellingham to start. I have Fibromyalgia and can't hold a full-time job. Some work/maintenance is a possibility, my son is 17 and I have experience in a lot of areas, including working with the mentally disabled and CNA duties. Would consider Skagit county...our friends live in Deming..so we were trying to stay closer to them. I have two dogs that would have to be with us. I know it's tough to find places...we were just up there visiting and looking around. Thanks for the help.
