Michael Savage and his show Savage Nation?

Guy is a major RightWinger(old school). But ya know what, unlike the phonies like Rush Limbaugh, Ollie North or even Michael Reagan, this guy makes at least sense and does so without some hidden agenda. The other yo-yos are nothing but reps of the RNC, lets be honest.

Course I do not agree with everything he spews. Just as I do not agree with everything the Lefty Tom Lykus for example, yaps about. But damn if this Savage guy is not dead-on correct more often than not.

If he is on where you are, give a listen. Give him sometime before you make a judgement. Like myself in a way, Savage is blunt. But given time it will be clear where he is coming from.

Anyhow at the minimum you will hear a rightwinger who calls GW what he is, a pandering moron.

Unlike pretty much anyone else on this board (I'd bet); I happen to be high school classmates/friends with one of our President's younger brothers.

Who happens to be one of the nicest, most down-to-earth people I've ever known. Saw him at our 15th reunion in 1990, when his dad was President; and we were all blown away by how unaffected he was.

So -- I resent the HELL out of people making character assassinations against people, when they know NOTHING about these people on a personal level.

In other words -- Doc, you need to put a sock in it.

Period.

Until you get a clue. Which evidently has not occurred yet.

Let me guess; you're white, you come from a fairly well-to-do, some might even say "privileged" background, and you no doubt "hung around" with the same.

Has it occurred to you in whatever serves as your brain these days that he was "...one of the nicest, most down-to-earth people [you]'ve ever known..." BECAUSE you are "one of them"?

It's been said by a number of people (one of whom worked with him at a crisis prevention center/suicide hotline) that Ted Bundy was "one of the nicest, most down-to-earth people" they'd ever known. Go figure. Not that I'm comparing a Bushie to a serial killer; just pointing out that even someone like Hitler was "nice" to some people.

"Nice" doesn't necessarily make a "good" person, but of course you knew that, right?

Too damn bad if you "RESENT the hell out of" it. Some people "RESENT the hell out of" YOU and your holier-than-thou, bible-thumping, never-can-be-wrong attitude. Perhaps YOU'RE the one who needs to "put a sock in it".

Perhaps the next time you post you might actually address the POINTS being made and not the person making them. But that's probably too much to ask from a Shrub "supporter".

Where to start, when a reply is so full and ripe with errors. And I mean, I've never seen one so ripe for the plucking, not even dealing with 'Andy'. Or Hamasaki.

First. It's quite sad that Doc has to send his woman to answer for him. (That should elicit some shrieks, I'm sure.)

Second. I did go to high school with George W. Bush's brother, Patricia, but that doesn't make me "one of them." Are you "one" with everyone with whom you went to high school? Your lack of logic there is quite idiotic. Flint would disown you.

Third. I would still say that you were making Ted Bundy and Adolf Hitler comparisons, in side-swipes at Bush, or his administration. Or his brother, my friend. No matter what you say. It's plain for all to see, unless SMP should decide to delete it. And I'd say that's sick. And you, by making such comparisons, are exhibiting a bit of mental illness.

Fourth. I'm responding very directly to what you say. Maybe you can't handle that; want to redirect that; want to deny that; but I'm meeting you very directly head-on. As is my habit. I've never been known for being shy in that category.

Fifth. Who happens to be one of the nicest, most down-to-earth people I've ever known. Meeting George Bush at a class reunion does not give you enough information to judge his ability to be president. Being "down to earth" does not qualify a person to be the leader biggest country of the free world.

A person needs to be able to reason, to use logic and comprehend the results of the actions he takes. GW Bush's emotional makeup is not condusive to the responsibility he has control of. I got to meet Queen Elizibeth, Al Gore, Many "Kings" and "leaders" of many countries around the world. Being in their presence, interacting with them, even liking the people they are did not impress me to the point where I felt they were qualified to run this country.
