We are considering a move to West Virginia, but don't know much about the area. My husband is taking a one-week trip in mid-May to explore the eastern/southeastern portion (near the mountains). We're on a tight budget. Now here's a strange question: does anyone have a living room floor he can bunk on? He'll be self-sufficient in terms of food, sleeping bag, towels, etc., but wouldn't mind a shower.

Similarly, does anyone have an old house on at least 40 acres they're looking to sell?

Any other info on the state would be appreciated. Meanwhile, I'll look in past threads.
