For those of you who know the worth of prayer, I ask that you continue to lift up my wife Jan, the co-founder of A.M.E. Today. She fell suddenly ill Monday and was rushed to the hospital where the it was determined she suffered a TIA (stroke). They still are conducting studies to see if there may also have been a heart attack concurrently. God blessed us, she had just returned from a retreat in snowed-in New York the night before. Our home is very near an excellent hospital. So God's blessings shine through even in the most trying of times. She has few residual effects from the stroke, weakness in one side, current loss of some short term memory. so please pray her continued recovery and those who already have been lifting her up in prayer, that you for your efforts, for prayer does change things. I might be a bit mute for awhile and the board may not get updated as frequently as it has....but with God's blessings we will be back to normal soon.

Dear Brother John, God is still in the miracle making business!l will be praying for you an Jan. When my daughter was in a coma for six weeks she was on fourteen prayer chains around the world. Several denominations prayed for her including the Mormons, Presbyterian, AME Zion, Catholic and Native American Elders. My daughter came out of the coma, and now is one of the founders of our church and religious education director. Rev. John we will pray and I will put sister Jan on our church prayer chain. Rev John, I will be in prayer concerning your wife's recovery. I have been attending a revival with Bishop Dwight Pate, Pastor of Church Point Ministries of Baton Rouge LA. God has given him and awesome healing and deliverance ministry. 6 years ago, the Lord instructed Bishop Pates that if he would pray over olive oil that God will turn the whole world upside down. He did so and millions from all over the world use this anoniting oil. God's Soverign Power has shown up in this oil. People have used this oil and tumors have fallen off or disappeared, this grandmother was blind, her son took the oil and poured it on her eyes and she regained her sight back. This man who was deaf since birth, someone poured the oil in his ears and now he is hearing like you and me. This happened at the revival that has been going for 9 weeks now, this woman who has a goddaughter with AIDS. This child contrated the disease from the womb. This woman found out about the Holy Anonited oil and took it home. She had her goddaughter bathe in it, drink the oil, anonited her head with the oil. Three weeks later when it was time for the child check up on her viral load count, the doctor's report came back the Cd4 count came back at 1900 (when it was 15) and the viral load was at zero. In otherwords, the HIV left her body...this little girl got a miracle! This man who smoked cracked, his wife took the oil and put some in his grits, guess what, after the man ate the grits, started shaking and fell to the floor speaking in tonuges. God not only delivered him of the crack addiction but also filled him with the Holy Ghost. This woman had colon cancer, Bishop Pate prophesied to her "In 24 hrs after recieving this oil and using the cancer will pass out of your body." This woman also bathed, and drank the oil. 24 hours later, the prophet's words came to pass and she passed (in parts) the cancer that big a grapefruit. The doctors gave her a clean bill of health. This my testimony....I was struggling in the area of my finances. The Lord told me to get the oil and pour it on my bills. Guess what!!! Checks from unexpected sources are coming in the mail for me, I got favor with my creditors, God is blessing my finances!! I also had a problem with ecsema (I am not sure if I spelled that right) on my wrist. I poured the oil and rubbed it on my wrist, the rash is gone. I tried all sorts of creams I thought I had to go to the doctor for it but God's Soverign Grace shown up in the oil. I am deeply touched and very sorry to here from your wife's condition. What I will tell you is that don't worry about the NET and us, we will survive, but the priority for you now is your wife. Sister Jan is home from the hospital and resting comfortably...our church family and congregation of Bensalem A.M.E. is spoiling the both of us during this time of sickness, and God continues to look out for us and those around us as Presiding Elder Carl D. Ogden was in an accident, but escape uninjured, when he was on his way to pray with and visit Sister Jan, prior to her release from the hosptial. So God coninues to be good...All The Time!!!!! I thank all of you for your prayers, for prayer does change things and Sister Jan's safe return home is evidence of that. Again I thank you and ask for continued prayer for a complete healing.
