In some movie (possibly tv show) there is someone talking about shoes on the side of the highway. He/she was saying how when someone picks up a person and murders them they throw a single shoe out as a trademark or to signify they got someone, so that's what you should remember when you see single shoes on the side of the road. I really want to know what movie this is from so your help is appreciated! Sorry it's so vague. Thanks.

I don't know for sure but you might try "Wag the Dog" although I think it is only mentioned as an "aside" point and not as an important piece of dialogue crucial to the plot.
