I was just wondering, if my sony DVP M35 (DVD player) is capable of playiing super vcd? If so, what is the highest "video bit rate" it can handle?

I too have a Sony DVP M35. I have converted a number of films from DVD into DivX, VCD and Super VCD. Unfortunately it seems that the M35 does not support Super VCD. However I have had some excellent results in converting DVD to VCD, with the output to be excellent quality and such that I believe appears to be very near-DVD quality.

In fact I have a Napa personal MP3/VCD player which I was quite disappointed in finding this does not support Super VCD either.
