Prior to his inauguration as president, GWB and Bill Clinton had a transition meeting in the Oval Office. After several glasses of iced tea, GWB asked to use the president's private bathroom. Upon entering, Bush noted that the president had a gold urinal. That evening, the president-elect told his wife Laura about the gold urinal. "Just think," he said, "when I'm president, that gold urinal will be mine to use." The next day at a luncheon for Laura Bush hosted by Hillary Clinton, Laura told Hillary how impressed her husband was with the gold urinal.
