Jack and Mildred, welcome!!! Where in Indiana are you??? We live about 30 miles from the border where Michigan, Ohio and Indiana meet, in Michigan. Hope you enjoy the forum and see we seem to all be suffering a little from cabin fever maybe???

Hi there, and welcome, from beautiful Brown County! One of the prettiest parts of the state, tho' it is getting crowded with those folks wanting to get out of Indy.

Hey - me too! I am up here between Fort Wayne and Angola, near Auburn.

Hi! I have a little place in Knightstown, IN. I too enjoy camping, gardening and I have a few animals. Sounds like fun.

Hi. I'm Wendy Lewis, but most of you know me as animalfarms. I'm a woman with 5 kids (2 young sons 2 & 4 years, 2 female dogs, & 1 husband), & throughly enjoying it. We also love all the same things you mentioned (camping, flea markets, garden, etc, etc, etc...). I've yet to start my farm (husband just retired from Marines last spring), as we are about to pay off some bills (getting out of debt, YEH) so we can work on getting a loan for our first house.I enjoy meeting others with similar interests, especially those in my home state of Indiana. It's nice meeting you all.

Welcome, fellow Hoosiers. We live between Terre Haute and Bloomington. Would love to have you visit if you are in the area. Speaking of flea markets, etc. if you are in the south part of the state stop by Dinky's Sale barn on Friday nights (south of Odon, on the Cannelburg Road). Tons of interesting (I didn't say valuable) merchandise and even more people. A good time to be had by all.

we live in spencer in. I have to agree with peggy that Dinkys is a great auction barn . we have sold eggs, garden extras , and some goats there. Maybe we'll have to plan on meeting there some time. We ( hubby,3 kids, and myself) love all the thing you mentioned , camping, yards sales flea markets, gardening, though I'm not a fisherman. I have to admit worms give me the creaps. I feel like such a wienie. Anyway, Indiana's a great place. sherry

-- george darby (windwillow@fuse.net), February 01, 2001.
Hi, saw the great pics! If we drive I hour north we can look across the river into Indiana. Love all those things, but we don't camp much anymore, livin out here is like camping! I don't like puttin worms on hooks either.

Good to see so many folks from Indiana checking in. Dearly Demented Hubby, two kids and I have a house in Greenwood and a few acres down in Martin County where I periodically murder bees and fruit trees, at least those trees that the deer don't munch or get mowed over by the menfolk.Yep, Dinky's is the place to go on Friday nights. I ought to sell some of my excess rabbits there -- I have New Zealands and French/Giant/? Angoras. Didn't garden much last year -- kid activities and other things got away from me, plus I did a lot the year before and was kind of burned out. This year's garden looks more active, the seed packages are arriving and I am looking to seed some oats for green manure on the big garden as soon as feasible.
Itching for spring,

Hi,I live near Bloomington, IN and am playing with the WEB today, happen to run across this site and noticed mention of Dinky's, near Montgomery, my husband and I go there often. We also enjoy fishing, flea markets, camping, yard sales. I didn't there were so many people like us out there. I would like to hear from the party living near Spencer. We just recently ran across a neat little food discount store near Dinky's, e-mail me and I'll tell you more about it.
