Who was YOUR favorite president?--Al

My personal favorite president was Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Pretty hard to pick a top one amongst the mighty. I remember very well how things were when he first came into office and the things he did to keep our country alive.

Bill Clinton. He did so much while he was in office and made this country so much better than it was before his terms. Let's hope that the next term doesn't set all of his work back another fifty years.

Well, I was too young to vote for Kennedy (tho I was old enough to vote for Johnson), but I was old enough to be taken in by the magic of Camelot. Respect for the presidency began to die with Johnson and was killed by Nixon. I guess I miss the days of Kennedy.

But as far as who was my favorite president as a human being, hands down it's Jimmy Carter. Not the greatest *president* perhaps, but has shown the most class of any ex-president I've ever known.
