Another Reason.....To Keep Your Kids From MTVgreenspun.com : LUSENET : The Christian Church : One Thread |
As if Marilyn Manson wasn't enough!!!Anyway....yesterday MTV announced that they WILL NOT have an inagural bash this year. Two reasons were given....1) Not enough time to prepare due to the Florida problem; and 2) Not enough interest.
Let's break this down.....shall we.
"Not enough time"......translated.....we were planning on Gore winning.....and......we really don't care to attend the inaguration of Bush....a mean spirited Republican.
"Not enough interest".....hmmmmmm.....so could we logically say then....that MTV's "Rock the Vote"....an attempt to get out the youth vote.....has been a big failure???!!!!
MTV....."Morans That Vote!"

Two more reasons to keep your kids from MTV......1) KAOPECTATE & 2) FIREWORM IS A ZERO!
Nuff said!!
-- Anonymous, January 11, 2001
Another reason.....Cobalt.Guys (or gals)....don't you get it?? The mannerisms you have demonstrated on this board turned out to "fully illustrate" my point.

Yawn
-- Anonymous, January 13, 2001
Kaopectate....It's not that Mark "sterotypes you"......he just follows the Scripture in Proverbs that says..."Don't answer a fool according to his folly."
So far....I has of yet seen you "put forth" an argument. I've simply read "spoutings."
Now....as to the original purpose of the posting...please point out the reason for the hypocrisy of MTV...NOT....to have an "inguration party" like they did the last two times.
I mean....I thought they were all for the kids getting out to vote and participating in the system.
It appears to me.....the real purpose of "Rock the Vote" is.....the recruitment of voters for the Democratic party and agenda.
Now...if they would just be honest...and say that is their purpose....GREAT!!! They have the right to do that!!
But don't give the impression you simply want to "involve young people in the process" when your real agenda is to recruit voters for the Democratic party.
-- Anonymous, January 14, 2001
Devil Kitty.....Actually....."Moran"....is the way Bugs Bunny says it and is therefore....my preferred method of spelling.
-- Anonymous, January 14, 2001
Mark....I think what "might" be interpreted as the "hate mail"....is that I believe some can ask to be notified via e-mail of activity on the thread. It may be a Green-Spun programmed thing. Dunno.

They need to change MTV to MTTTVBWTSTFIO..............Morons That Tried To Vote But Were Too Stupid To Figure It Out!
Just another case of "America, you didn't play by our rules, so we are taking our ball and going home".

YOU WRETCHED IDIOTS!!!!! It is time that you came off you high horses and think about what you are saying. you are bashing these people for utilizing our GOD given gifts of free will and opinion. Let them do what they wish, for it should have no impact on your daily lives. Unless you happen to be an avid MTV viewer, then you would be a blasted hippocrite. Judge not least ye be judged, fool.
-- Anonymous, January 11, 2001
Hey FireWyrm-Zero:Go down to the public library and check out a Bible (as I'm sure you probably don't own one) and read down 5 verses from the "judge not lest ye be judged" quote. It says, "do not cast your pearls before swine"(Matt. 7:6).
MTV is about the "Porkiest" thing on the Tube.
-- Anonymous, January 11, 2001
Fire Wyrm,You obviously haven't covered the part in the Bible about bridling the tongue yet. If you can't watch your mouth, please go to the MTV website and post your profanities there - they are not welcome here.
But, speaking of censorship, - why do you try to censor me when I quote Scripture? Haven't covered double-standards yet in your Bible reading either I'll bet.
-- Anonymous, January 11, 2001
I intend to help a fellow free-speech advocate in need: Mark, have YOU read the Bible? When you've read it and understood more than the simplistic quotes justifying any need they may desire that Christians seem so full of, do get back to us "heathens". And if you have such an interesting grasp of the Bible, do tell me why you eat shrimp.Half-Jewish, All-Democrat, 150% Liberal, Kaophyre Tamadashi Serai

AND I LIKE MTV. And I like Marilyn Manson. His song "The Beautiful People" is one of my favorites. And this is a free country, jack-ass. We don't Christians telling us what to do. This isn't a theocracy.
-- Anonymous, January 11, 2001
WRETCHED FOOLS!!! You do not know the depths of your ignorance!!! Censorship is a bane to even you "christians"! It was once thoght blasphemous to even speak the bible in english! You should count yourselves extremely lucky that you can even read "the good book"! If you were so rigghtous, you would let us have our own opinions and not worry about you getting our "filth" upon you.Perhaps you should evolve... never mind. You hide behind your masks of law and grace and expect every one else to conform to your standards of what you deem decent and right. Im going to shock you now. Jesus didnt come here to make us comfortable. Jesus came to rattle our cages. We, as in you, were comfortable, yet stagnat, in our little hole, content to do nothing.
-- Anonymous, January 12, 2001
I do belive that my freind FireWyrm has a point. All you people seem to be doing is belittling eachother in the name of religion. It is my opinion that Chirstians are a messed-up bunch of psychos who obliterate evything and everyone in their path that doesnt agree with them or tosses a wrench into the works of their perfec little society. Does anyone remeber the Crusades? How about the Inqusition?
-- Anonymous, January 12, 2001
There goes the neighborhood. Those of you who found this Forum on the Greenspun Board are welcome... as long as you keep the language clean... and your arguments logical... otherwise you will be deleted... carry on...
-- Anonymous, January 12, 2001
So guys, why is it not possible for MTV to tell the truth? I don't think you should give up on the world yet. There are still decent people out there who believe in truth and honesty. Jesus would never simply assume they are not lying about their reasons for not doing an inaugural bash. Give them a chance. We would all be rotting in the fiery pits of hell if God didn't give us a chance with his son. Do you see my point?
-- Anonymous, January 12, 2001
well, well, well, arent we a nice group of HIPPOCRITICAL "CHRISTIANS"!!!!!! NOW, YOU TELL ME, IS CALLING SOMEONE A ZERO REALLY CHRIST-LIKE? AND ANOTHER THING... HOW DO YOU KNOW ALL THIS STUFF ABOUT MTV? YOU OBVIOUSLY DONT WATCH IT IF YOU HATE IT SO MUCH! NOW IF YOU DONT WATCH THE FRIKKIN CHANNEL, _HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON_!!!!!!!!! NOW, WHAT WOULD JESUS DO IN THIS PREDICIMENT?? WOULD HE BEAT THE INDUSTRY (MTV) UNTIL IT BLEEDS, OR PRAY FOR IT? I BELIEVE IN GOD AVIDLY, BUT I DONT BELEIVE IN RELIGION, BUT IF YOU CANT FIND ANYTHING BETTER TO DO THAN COME TO THIS MESSAGE BOARD AND BASH MTV, YOU NEED TO FIND A LIFE, THEN WORRY ABOUT SAVING YOUR SOUL AND CONVERTING THE PLANET _LATER_!!!!! AND ABOUT MARLIYN MANSON... WHAT CAN YOU HAVE AGAINST HIM IF YOUVE NEVER HEARD HIS MUSIC. WHAT SOLID FACT CAN YOU BRING UP THAT MAKES HIM BAD!!!!!! I AM AN AVID MANSON FAN, AND I KNOW FOR FACT THAT THERE HAVE BEEN SOME NASTY RUMORS SPREAD ABOUT HIM, NONE OF WHICH ARE TRUE (TRUST ME, IVE BEEN TO 2 OF HIS CONCERTS!) AND ALSO, IF YOU THINK MTV IS SO EVIL, THEN WHY DONT YOU THINK THE INTERNET IS EVIL??? OR THE REST OF THE MEDIA FOR THAT MATTER??? POINT IS, IF YOU HATE MTV, FINE, BUT DONT TELL THE WORLD BECAUSE _WE DONT CARE_!!!!!!!!! YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO STATE YOUR OPINION, BUT YOU ARE ALSO INFRINGING ON THE RIGHT FOR OTHERS (MTV) TO EXPRESS THERES. NOW I THINK ITS TIME FOR ALL YOU "CHRISTIANS" TO ASK YOURSAELF WHAT JESUS WOULD REALLY DO IN THIS PREDICAMENT. I JUST PRAY THAT YOU CAN GET SOME SENCE INTO YOUR HIPPOCRITICAL HEADS AND STOP EVANGELIZING FOR 10 SECONDS AND LISTEN TO GOD.
-- Anonymous, January 12, 2001
Messgae toi our friend Mark, the bible says not to judge, and you even quoted it, so what do you think calling mtv "the porkiest thing on the tube" is SMART GUY!!!!!! if they go to hell, SO WHAT!!! its no skin off your back, or mine! apparently you dont care at all about trying to save these people, or you wouldnt ream them at every possible opportunity. think about that.

i going to appologize for the reaming i gave you all. i just want you to see that what your doing is not christ-like at all and if you think it is, youd better go back to the book. being christian isnt about destroying all the heathens on the planet... their time will come to be judged. for now, try praying for them and maybe trying to help them, or just stay out of thier buisness. jesus didnt care about MTV, or marilyn manson, or the political parties, but he does care about loyal servants who serve him, not people who judge others. its not your job people, so dont make it your job, or you will be on the same level as them. jesus died for us, and do you really want to pay him back this way? i would hope not. please think about what your saying and doing.
-- Anonymous, January 12, 2001
and what exactly is your point?
-- Anonymous, January 13, 2001
For all the gods this tiny planet on the edge of a vast universe knows, only "God's children" as you call yourselves, could make such a mockery of religion. Jesus is looking down on us and wondering how we got everything so messed up. He gave us simple things, taught us to forgive one another for their fallacies and not to turn your back on someone just because they make you uncomfortable. And the only reason we make you hypocrites nervous is because your religion is bulit on a shaky foundation of lies, hate, and the sickening stench of Christian inspiration and opinions on why our government is messed up, even if you're the ones that did it. So maybe, for once, you people can find something else to do rather than pick apart pop culture, desparate to find someone to blame for the inaccuracies and nauseating errors of your own religion. Get a life.Lady Kaophyre Tamadashi Serai

well said seraph. thats what ive been trying to get across to these people.
-- Anonymous, January 13, 2001
To all *unbounded.com personnel:And why would a bunch of teenagers who spend the most valuable hours of their life discussing Pokemon, Digimon, & Sailor Moon on the Internet (Anime Group) make us nervous?
You greatly over-estimate your affect here.
When you've lived a few more years, have experienced life above a Junior Prom, and have gotten in at least a few Higher level Classes (College ?)under your belt - come back and talk here. We would love to have a logical discussion about what Faith in Christ & God truly is. Until then, the best advice we can give you is "don't trade your "Pickachu for a Squirtle".
-- Anonymous, January 13, 2001
What does unbounded.com have to do with this??anyway
you assume to much. i may have only been on this planet for 16 years, but you cant effectively assume something about someone youve never met can you? i cant assume anything about you because i dont know anything about you except for what youve said on this board. but to assume that us teenage anime people are just a bunch of morons is being a litle rash. i had a 5th grade reading level in first grade. in fifth grade, it was at college level. i was doing algebra in 3rd grade, no big deal. ive had class discussions that even my teachers cant follow. ive questioned the very elements of religion to the Nth degree. i was classified as gifted in the 1st grade. though this is irrelivent to you, you would have never assumed it. ive had religious discussions that give my leaders a run for thier money. i doubt we are overestimating ourselves, but you are definatley underestimating us. now, if you want to attempt a logical discussion with me/us, you find yourself suprised at what we are capable of. maybe a discussion that is relevant to religion, and not just bashing something that, (a) doesnt matter in the long run, and (b) you dont know enough about to make a rightful judgement, or any judgement on.
but as for discussing something, give it a try, you might be suprised.
-- Anonymous, January 14, 2001
Dear Lady Kaophyre Tamadashi Serai:You have said:
“And the only reason we make you hypocrites nervous is because your religion is bulit on a shaky foundation of lies, hate, and the sickening stench of Christian inspiration and opinions on why our government is messed up, even if you're the ones that did it.”
You speak as if everyone writing in this forum is a hypocrite. At least you have asserted this as being true. But you offer no evidence to support your claim. Then you assume, but do not prove that you make us nervous. I know that I am not in the least disturbed by anything you have said. I only doubt the truthfulness of your unproven assertions.
You continue to assert without offering any proof that our “religion” is “built on a shaky foundation”. I for one am willing to consider your claim and examine to see if it is in fact correct. But I cannot examine it because you offer no evidence whatsoever to prove it. You assert that Christianity is based upon “hate” but offer no evidence to support that assertion. You claim that Christian “inspiration” stinks. We believe that your Jewish scriptures are inspired of God and that they predicted the inspiration of those who gave us the New Testament. Thus the same God that inspired the Jewish Scriptures also inspired the Christian Scriptures. But for some strange reason you think that inspiration stinks. Then you accuse Christians falsely of “messing up our government”. Now I am not one that believes that Christians should be involved very much in politics, but I see no evidence presented by you that proves that all Christians have messed up the government.
Then after giving us all of those weak and unsupported statements you conclude with:
“So maybe, for once, you people can find something else to do rather than pick apart pop culture, desparate to find someone to blame for the inaccuracies and nauseating errors of your own religion. Get a life.”
You assert that those who do not like MTV are against it solely because they are desperate to “blame someone” for alleged “inaccuracies and nauseating errors” of the Christian religion. But you do not prove that this is the reason for their dislike of MTV. You merely assume it and assert it. We would like to see you make some reasonable effort to PROVE IT. You claim that the Christian religion has inaccuracies and errors. If you mean by this that many, that call themselves Christians, have not followed the truth taught in the Scriptures, I would wholeheartedly agree with you. I argue about many of those things myself. But you offer no proof even of this. If, however, you mean that the scriptures and the faith once for all delivered to the saints of God is inaccurate and full of error I do not agree. But in either case you have offered no proof to support any of your assertions. And until you can prove what you say to be true I would have to doubt very much if it is true.
Then you admonish us to “get a life”. Now a more absurd statement could not be made. We are no different from you. We are alive and if we were not you would indeed be delusional to argue with beings that do not live. Just because our lives and our faith does not please you is no indication that we do not have lives that are as valuable and important and as precious as yours. So your admonition for us to get a life is nothing more than an arrogant and ignorant statement designed for no greater purpose that to level insults at people just because they hold views and beliefs different from your own. This is a strange attitude for one who claimed in another thread to be “liberal”. If you are going to be a good liberal you must learn to at least “appear” to be tolerant of others even if down deep inside you detest them.
I, however, much appreciate your telling us honestly the truth about what you think of us. It gives us an opportunity to examine ourselves to see how much of what you are saying about us is true. I am gratified to know that you are not learning to pretend that you have a market on tolerance as most liberals hypocritically claim. If you are willing to examine the details of the Christian religion with fairness and objectivity I believe you would find the answer to the question that you asked in another thread about why Christianity is so appealing. One of the major reasons that it is appealing is because it is true. But that can only be shown to you if you are willing to examine the evidence objectively that proves that it is the truth. If you were willing to engage in that discussion I would be happy to help you understand it. But if you simply hate all Christians just because they are Christians, like Hitler hated the Jews just because they were Jews, then no one can help you find the answer to the question that you asked. You see, Hitler did not think of the Jews as human beings who had lives that were valuable and precious. No, he murdered them just because he did not like them. Would you do the same thing to Christians? I do not think so but your hatred for Christians is without any more justification than Hitler’s hatred of the Jews. You hold opinions that cause you to despise us but you are not sure that those opinions are even true. It is indeed a shame for a Jewish girl to speak in vile language against any people just because they hold a different religion. Do think about this the next time that you feel compelled to criticize someone for being “anti-Semitic”.
I sincerely consider you my “little Jewish friend” and hope that we can discuss the more important issue of the truthfulness of Christianity apart from our concerns about “MTV” and the political direction our country is going. For until one at least understands Christianity it is not possible for them to truly understand why these other things even matter to us.
Your Christian Friend,
E. Lee Saffold

Cobalt,I'll give you credit for 1 thing - at least you Can spell, where as most of the other interluders from teenagerland cannot.
But your age still betrays you. If you will go through the many threads on this Forum, you will see how adult conversations and debates take place (usually). One doesn't just start making accusations and calling people names, because then the only point they prove is how ignorant, small minded, or in this case how just plain immature they are themselves.
If one has a point to make or prove, he provides the Biblical and logical evidences to back up his idea - that is called the "art of Debate", something few in your age group are ever exposed to these days. If one does not provide accurate information for convincing others of their argument, then it can be dismissed - although many threads have lead us here to reconsider their own thinking in some areas, which is the whole point. Most in this group are honestly trying to broaden their knowledge of God or help others do the same for themselves.
There have been teenagers come on with honest questions who we dealt with very kindly and actually helped them in life. But this current group now has come on doing nothing but making accusations and spewing profanties. That is not how mature people debate issues or conduct conversations - shoot, that's not even how adults treat their dogs.
Cobalt - you have behaved better than your cohorts from "unbounded", for which I thank you. I would be glad to debate issues with you, as long as you can base your points on Biblical fact and present them logically and as long as you are willing to listen and LEARN from the discussion. If your presence, or that of others, is not for this purpose - then you are just wasting your time, our time, and a lot of CyberSpace.
Now, don't react to this post - THINK about it, examine what has gone on here, and then reply in a mature manner. If any here can't do that - then go play with your Pokeballs and leave debate to the adults.

I commend E. Lee Scaffold for his thoughtful replies to all of my disgruntled posts, as he makes being here interesting. AND he can spell. I like that. Thank you. And I didn't direct that last post at you, it was aimed more at our friend Mark. However, I prove next to nothing, as you usually mention, and don't hesitate to point it out. I know I seldom prove much, but this is spiritual stuff here. There's little to base it on. Regard my posts as theory and unproven opinion. Anyway, I was very offended by Mark's post; I'm only 15. I despise Pokemon, but I enjoy the thoughtfulness and inclusive-theory views of GOOD anime. Granted, there isn't much of it, but if you want a good anime, watch Princess Mononoke. It's excellent. Now, on with these ridiculous claims that all in our age group are nothing but morons and can't debate anything logically. I am wounded by this more than anything religion-wise, because a stereotype is all most people see me as. I feel ill after reading that Pokemon insult; after all, not all of us are alike. I'm sure Cobalt didn't like it much either. I'm standing up for him too, here. The only reason you've posted this is becuase you're hoping that you'll scare us "kiddies" off. Well, I enjoy a good debate any day and while I've attended some college- level classes with my father, an English proffesor, I am still a mere freshman. I apologize that I'm not on the same echelon as you, as I presume you went to college from your implications. I'm sorry God didn't get me on this planet sooner; it's not my fault I've only existed since 1985. At least I missed the Disco Era. If you're hoping to scare us off with your below-the-belt punches and accusing us of being Pokemon freaks, you had better get some more advanced ammunition: I'm not planning on scurrying off just because one of my elders decides to use age, a thing I'm not responsible for nor accountable for, as some kind of excuse for us not to be opening our mouths. Sure, I got mouth washed out with soap by my grandmother for being "uppity with my elders", but I don't plan on taking this from someone that hasn't used anything but simplistic debate insults and warped looks at stereotypes to support an argument he's clearly losing. I apologize for our fore-father's presumptuousnress in making the first amendment. They were obviously mistaken.Your friend in Pokemon, Kaophyre Tamadashi Serai
P.S.- I assume you meant to be a good debater: Take lessons from Mr. E. He points out the fallacies in my arguments rather than grouping me in a sub-category of a faulty stereotype and hoping I'll tuck my tail and run. You could learn something from people like that. Thank you for your observations, everyone.

Okay, I'm sorry to intrude here... but I'd like to point out that, although rude as all get out, Fire Wyrm-Zero is entitled to his own damn opinions, and I don't think you need to harass him for informing you of where he stands on certain issues. You are, I assume, Christians, yes? When I completed Confirmation class, one of the things I was taught was that even when someone disagrees with you, you should do what Jesus would want you to do, BE NICE TO THEM. You don't have to agree, or even like Fire Wyrm-Zero... but you also don't have to treat him in an unkind manner. I find it VERY un-Christian, the way you guys are reacting to this. For Pete's sake, leave him alone. Now, *snorts* I've been hearing rumors that you people of this Forum have resorted to terrorist tactics... emailing people with unkind and rude messages, filling their mailboxes with junk and hate-mail. Is that really a Christian way of acting? Shouldn't you at least keep the argument here in the forum? I was warned not to put my email addy with my name, because you would fill my email box with junk simply because I stick up for and am loyal to my friends, and am willing to come to Fire Wyrm-Zero's defence. I'd like to think that that is pure malarky, that no Christian soul would resort to such childish, stupid, and frankly un-Christian behavior. However, I trust my friends, and what they tell me is usually true. Whoever is sending junk mail to people who disagree with you, please realise that you can rise above such childish methods of annoying people. I am going to let my email addy be shown because I'd like to trust you too. Prove me wrong on this, and all you do is prove Fire Wyrm-Zero RIGHT. I don't really agree with him either... but I would simply offer a different opinion ON THE FORUM, not harass him and any who support him. If the rumors are true, you are a truly sorry lot. Prove the rumors wrong.
Thank you for you're time.

And to Danny, the original message creator... Morans, I assume, is you're [failed] attempt at spelling MORONS. If you're going to insult someone, have the good sense to spell it right.

Coug,First of all, yes the Worm is entitled to his own (expletive deleted) opinion. So are all of us here on this Forum. Yet, he breaks in calling us profane names without any provocation - is that right? Of course not. Do we have to right to ask him to take his profanity elsewhere? Yes we do. That is the whole point of our Constitutional rights - your rights end when they infringe on my rights. Worm, Crovax, and others have crossed that line. If he, you, or anyone else wants to join the discussions here, Great - just abide by the rules. Most here are serious about their faith and many make our livings by serving in our faith. Our efforts are to learn from & teach each other here - not to play games with juvenile deliquents.
Second, you need not worry about harrassing messages from people here - it ain't going to happen. You might get an e-mail asking you to be serious while here and to watch the profanity, but that's only common courtesy. Now, on the other hand, WE (I specifically) have been getting VERY threatening and VERY profane e-mail from your group, specifically from those at "unbounded.com". If you don't believe me, I can send you the e-mail CrovaxtheCursed@unbounded.com sent me as proof. I couldn't post it here because of all the profanity (usually mispelled) in it. This letter was unsolicitated (as I have e-mailed no one outside of our group), totally uncalled for, and in extremely poor taste - but then, what else should I expect from a teenager who is up playing with his computer way past a decent bedtime.
This letter was the reason I traced these people back to Wrym's post on the Anime Forum that invited all his buddies to come and attack us. I can give you that URL if you would like - but I know you have already seen it, or else you wouldn't be here. I would post it here for everyone else's benefit - but I won't because of it's vulgarity - though I might pass it on to anyone who asks for it personally.
Cougar, if you are really trying to be decent here, I advise you to find some new friends, for I know at least 1 of them are lying through their teeth on this harrassment issue.

Kaophyre,Why do we eat shrimp? I'm a Christian. I eat shrimp from time to time.
You know something else. I'm a Gentile. The Bible doesn't forbid me from eating shrimp anywhere in it, in any time period, as far as I can see. God gave Noah the various kinds of meat to eat, as long as they didn't eat blood. Later, the elders and apostles of the church, made up primarily of Jewish believers, gathered and wrote a letter telling Gentiles they did nto have to keep the law of Moses, but that they had to refrain from eating blood, things, strangled, fornication, idolatry... A few hundred years later, Jewish rabbis started saying something similar to what the church had said.
So you are the one who is 'half-Jewish.' Have you ever eaten shrimp? What about pork?

If you can't spell my name, just call me Kao. I'm not picky. In the Old Testament, brush up on Leviticus 11. The whole thing. Granted, I have a Lutheran friend that claims these restrictions are due to "improper cooking methods back then", the manner in which they are written says otherwise. Then again, religion is a personal matter; everyone is allowed their own version of whatever they wish to be, Christian or Taoist. And in response, I regard Judaism as both a race and a religion. I am half according to my ethnic background. I am probably only a fourth Jewish religion-wise. Though my grandparents are orthodox, I am far from it. I am a mix of religions, being a Wiccan in my positive view of nature and humankind's inherent innocence, Jewish in my study of the Kabbalah, and none of the above in my other views and opinions. I don't claim to be anything, I'm just here. I also assume you mean to tell me I have been profane. Note I haven't used any profanity ANYWHERE save that jack-ass comment. Sorry about that. I was a little agitated. Not speaking for anyone else, *I* will keep it clean, sirs.P.S. If MTV is recruiting more Democratic voters, more power to them. The Republicans have a triple crown in the White House at the moment, and after these next four years we'll need someone qualified to fix the economy after Bush's through with it.

Kaophyre and Fire WYRM-Zero [Please note: Worm and Wyrm are two VERY different things. It is a grave insult that I do SERIOUSLY take offense at if you confuse the two] are my friends [I hope... I don't know Kaophyre all that well yet] but I do not know Corvax at all and do not claim him as one of my protectorate. I have not checked my email yet... I hope I do not find any hateful messages. And Danny? I only allow my closest friends the privledge of calling me Devil Kitty or Devil Cat. The reason? My name is actually Kathleen [Ancient Gaelic: Pure One] and most call me Kat. Some truly close friends call me Kitty. Thus, I'd rather you call me Cougar, Coug, or DC. Thank you. And if you're basing you're spelling or Morons on a phonetic mispronounciation by Bugs Bunny... *rolls eyes*
Lastly, thank you, all of you, for not immediately aiming sharp objects at my jugular for standing up for my friends.

Coug,Thanks for noticing the "Worm" comment - it was intentional. After all the preverse things he said about me & others here and the lies he propagated about imaginary hate mail, I think he had it coming - sort of a play on words and an "eye for an eye" kinda thing.
I'm glad to hear that you are not an associate of Crovax - evil such as his should be avoided at all costs. He would strike fear in the hearts of Postal Workers everywhere if they knew he was out there.
Keep us informed as to the status of hate mail from us Christians. If you or we do not physically see the evidence of such (via e-mail, fax, posting, etc) then we can only assume that Wyrm (I was nice this time) lied to all of you in his "Attack the Christians" post on the Anime Forum. And as such, I think you would need to re-examine your loyalty to him. People such as the Saint of Justice and the Dark Knight have rightly pointed out his error to him and I think you would be a better friend to him by joing with those 2 in the effort to help your friend.
Hopefully , you will have long lives ahead of you; don't mess them up at this young age by becoming hardened against everyone that has different opinions - variety is the spice of life. And hopefully, you will one day come to see the bigger picture - that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, & the Life, which is very reason that this particular Forum exists.
Live long & Prosper, Coug. (And don't go around calling yourself a "non-human" - because you might actually start believing that some day. You are a human being, a Creation of God, something to celebrate in wonder and awe.)

On the anime site, he has no allies. If I had known he would behaved so rashly, I wouldn't have asked for help at all. Second: My actions were not ment to insult, but they went that way. I am sorry. My original intent was to defend, but I took it too far. May sincerest regrets. And finally, to all those who choose to help me, I thank you. So, my deepest apologies for all of those I offended. I recant all remarks of mine and those of that fool Crovax the Cursed. I will find him and ask him to apologise or risk banshment from the anime forum. And to all, I only ask you to forgive me, for I know not what I do.

Thank you Fire-Wyrm, apology accepted. You may well become a gentleman and a scholar. And always know that we are over here and help is available for the asking - that is what Christians do.
Also I wouldn't worry about "tracking down" Crovax, unless you really just want to help him through his problems. His apology is not needed on the Forum as his attack was focused at me, and I have moved on to higher ideals.

I don't know this "Crovax" guy, and I refuse to be mentioned in the same breath as him, as I've heard of his disrespectful flames posted without proper cause. Please don't associate him with me or my age group, which I am regrettably a member of. Though I do my fair share of outright insults, I do base them on something. I'd also request that we not be blamed for whatever he did. I note some people are finally trying to keep a civil tongue. I hope sensible argument continues rather than returning to the petty insults and making fun of our online names. Not since grade school have I heard my name being poked fun at. You are obviously easily amused, Mark.Ano Shinsei Kurayami Tenshi (The Divine Dark Angel) Kaophyre Tamadashi Serai

My dear Serai,Show me where I have made fun of your name and I will repent of it.
In fact show me where I have even addressed you at all in this Thread.
I did not lump you in with the rest of the group that came on board, because you were a visitor here several weeks before they appeared, so there is no need for you to take any offense at my comments to them. To be honest, I'm not sure that I have even addressed any of your comments on any of the threads you have appeared on. By your own admission you have said that you haven't made a lot of sense in your posts and I have found no reason to disagree with your own assessment, so I've found no need to reply.
You are always welcome here as long as you abide by the rules we use concerning profanity and civility. Maybe if you tried to organize your thoughts a little better before typing your posts, you might make your thoughts more plain to us so that good discussion can then ensue. (Don't be insulted by that - that is the same advise I have given my 2 boys)
And yes, I AM amused easily. I like Bugs Bunny, Wile E. Coyote, the Tazmania Devil, Scooby Doo, the Three Stooges, and even Pokemon (Pickachu is cute - he reminds me of my bunny rabbit!)

i too apologize for any harm i may have caused. it seems we have a fun loving (easily amused:) group here, and that is always fun. i look forward to in depth discussions (for i am known for being quite controversial) no hard feeling i would hope, now maybe we can pick our feet back up and start off the right way: shall we?

Sounds good Cobalt. You'll find that several of us here also seem to be "controversial" - so good company is always welcome.
And the only hardness you'll find here is that of Marvin the Martian's Q46 Explosive Space Modulator...................:~)

It seems peace has returned to Gotham...for now. I nod to Mark that I noticed he pretty much ignored my earlier stupidity out of deference to a fellow 'Net user. Many thanks. And Cobalt's right...maybe we should start this over again. I hope to have not permanently scarred anyone as I'm infamous for doing, and that all of you can forgive each other for being dolts at one point or another. The Peace-Loving and Relatively Harmless Kaophyre Tamadashi Serai
