Cherri -- LOL!! That comment brought to mind something that happened several years ago.
My job wasn't going too well and I was terribly frustrated. One of my co-workers (who was also a friend) pulled me aside one day and tried to calm me down; she was telling me that if I didn't calm down, I was heading for a nervous breakdown.
Well, I thought about it for a second and replied as follows:
"Let's see if I understand you. If do suffer a nervous breakdown, I will be forced to lie in bed in a really quiet, no-pressure kind of place. Virtually every one of my whims will be catered to hand-and-foot. I will have no responsibilities other than eating and sleeping. AND -- I get free prescription drugs fed to me on a schedule.
I'm trying to see a "downside" to this....."
She had no answer ;-)

No taxes, no infrastructure. I.e. chaos. But that's what Doomers hope for anyway, eh.
Tax protestors are basically idiots, who should either go live in another country, or shut up. If they want a free ride here and can't get it; they should try that tactic overseas. That'll be a wake-up call.
