Here are two recipes we like with our Hawaiian pork. Sauerkraut salad - Keeps well in frig. 1 large can sauerkraut {drained}, 1/2 grated onion,pinch of pepper, 1 c chopped celery, 1 c pimentos- Dressing 2/3 c white vinegar 1/2c salad oil 1c sugar. Boil 2 or 3 min. and cool Pour over sauerkraut. sauerkraut/rice. Large can of sauerkraut, 12 tbs rice cover with water & boil down. Melt 1/2 stick margarine & pour over. Enjoy both with hawaiian pork anytime not only on new years day HAPPY NEW YEAR Mary & JOE

Oops, mistake on the sauerkraut/rice recipe,refering to a large can of sauerkraut it is the 14.4 oz can, not the large one but adjust if you like more rice or kraut. Mary & Joe
