Kwanzaa Celebration: Day 3greenspun.com : LUSENET : A.M.E. Today Discussion : One Thread |
The third Principle of Kwanzaa is called Ujima or collective work and responsibility. This principle exhorts us to build and fortify our communities through constructive work activities and seek sensible solutions for the problems of our fellow brothers and sisters. Implicit in this principle is the urgency to remain FOCUSED on what we DO because without proper focus our communal goals and objectives will be difficult to attain. This is essentially the chalenge faced by Nehemiah in the bold and daring task to rebuild the Walls of Jerusalem. Kindly refer to Nehemiah 2:17-20. QED
