I have an MBA degree and a darned good paying job. Believe me, working even full time, I never earned anywhere near what you mentioned.

If you wade through the several screens they make you go through, you have to buy their information on how to set up a homebased mail order system.

Sorry but it truly sounds like a scam for you to buy their info. I got spammed by them and do not particularly like it.

I have gotten many negative responses from this forum. I am truly sorry you feel the way you do. I am not the type of person to do that, but, I do understand you people don't know me from adam. That is why I asked you to check the information out for yourself. This is Not a scam. But I do understand there are scams out there. Yes! You guys did upset me but I truly do understand. I have never been to a chat room or any other thing on the internet. I have been reading Countryside for a few years through my neighbors. I don't know how or why I have gotten involve, but only to help you guys like I said. I will not continue to defend myself. I have given you the opportunity to check out a website for yourself and make your own decision, I will leave it at that. Just know, I will be here for anyone who is serious and will not judge me before checking this out. The only reason I answered this is because after reading and hearing from many of you wanting to make it beyond the sidewalks, and myself, I have made it. I guess I only wanted to be more a part of the bigger family. I will not say it don't hurt hearing all this negative responce before you checked it out. I do not blame anyone because of it. It took me a long time to trust doing this. This is what I thought would happen. I didn't know how I would handle it, but you know, I survived. So I guess, I am a true survivor. Well I downloaded the booklet on this site (it's snowin got nothing better to do). After dozens of pages of testimonials that read like an info-mercial I finally got to the end. They want you to send them $27 for 'more' information. Heck I didn't get any information from what I had just read! This fool isn't gonna be parted from any more money.

Just thought it was interesting that Margaret is making this kind of money but she has been reading Countryside for six years "through a neighbor". I think this is the kind of thing that JD was referring to in his newsletter. It's one thing if you can't afford a subscription and you go to the library or friend to read the magazine. It's quite another when you do have the money, which obviously all of us that are on this forum do because we own computers. I agree with JD. If you enjoy Countryside so much and you can afford a computer, you should show him support by paying for a subscription. Based on the comments on this thread, I don't think this site is as up and up as Margaret would have us believe. If it was, she would just tell us what the idea is for making money at home. She has nothing to lose by telling us. She doesn't have to give the details. I have a feeling that this is just another scam and probably it is hers.

I recieve on the average of 8 of the money at home programs per day in my snailmail. All from having ordered one direct marketing package about 4 years ago. Todays post contained identical offers from five different sources guaranteeing the same "can't miss" mailing lists. True some make money on these programs, however I have learned that when you recieve info filled with testimonials on the "program" but it never says what the program is , BEWARE. I feel the info is always good for folks to form their own opinions, but check them out with the BBB in the city where they are based and also where you recieve the offer before any monetary commitment. Margaret, I'll check out the site you referenced, thanks for sharing the info, glad you have done well with it.

Colleen, I agree completely with you. Perhaps she thought users of this site were a bunch of country bumkins ready to be scammed. Expect she knows better now; MOST are not.
