Should I change my image? To what? What's your image?
-- Anonymous, December 06, 2000
I hate the way I look but I'm too afriad to make a big change. Heck, it took me years to get the guts to get a tattoo.

Sometimes I would love to change my image, but it never happens. I think if you want to, you should. (but there's nothing wrong with being a girly girl) If I had to place myself in a category, I would have a really hard time because I have no idea what image I have. Maybe a preppy/dorky/loser kind of image? *shrug*

Should you change your image? *What* image? What you see yourself as, or what others see you as?I guess I'd say this: if it is what you see yourself as, and you don't like it, try to change. If it is for what others see you as, don't change. Fuck the others.
Regarding images....I should hope that this is what others see, because this is what I see in myself: confident, determined, stubborn, crazy, smart, doesn't put up with shit, efficient, mean, sarcastic. If they're seeing other things, it's because I'm confusing them on purpose. I hope. Hehe.

All I'm sayin', Katie, hon, is that punk chicks are supercute. Even if they have crazy mohawks or whatever. That's just my personal opinion, tho.Be who you are, girly or not. I wasn't girly for a long time, and now I am. And I'm cool w/ it. Be cool w/ who you are.
Smootchies!

Should you change your image? Yes, you should, cause change every now and then is good.I would suggest goth. Goth chicks are cool and get away with any combos of outfits. Preppy is no good cause you have buy expensive crap and sluttly will only make you seem, well, slutty and easy and so on and so forth...
What's my image? A cross between jock/nerd/preppy/businessperson. Almost all my t-shirts are running related somehow. My dressier clothes are super nice. My business outfits for work are, well, business attire. The nerdy part comes in when I mix and match... not a good combo:)

Brian, why do you hate the way you look? That's not cool.

For someone who was reluctant to put a label on a romantic relationship, you sure are quick to label yourself. goodness. Whatever happened to being yourself?

My image varies a lot...it has changed a lot though ever since I went to college 3 months ago...I used to be a quiet, but popular girl who could do no wrong. Now I have a rep going in my hometown that I am this slut...what's with that? Rumors are a killer... Well now I just like to have a good time...what's wrong with that? I am a preppy girl during the day...hoed out bar girl by night:-)

Damn y'all... you know this "I'm changing my image" thing is all joking, right?

I'm basically an apathetic, laid back kind of person, and it shows in how I dress. I wear whatever I find, whether it matches or not. I have bright blue hair and am getting multiple piercings, so if we wanted to stretch it, I suppose I could be generalized as 'punk'. Ah, we can't forget "alcoholic partier" and "nerd". Of course.

Your image is something that should come naturally. Kind of like having ass-cheeks. So whatever you do Katie, make sure it's something YOU thought of and wanted all on your own. Not something you saw somebody else doing, like all these other dumbasses. Anyway, my image is cool, I guess. I can do baggy, I can do tight-fitting, I can do short hair, long hair, I can do sexy, and I can do classy. It's really all about YOU. So make sure whatever you decide on reflects a little bit of your personality. And you seem cool, so I know you'll look good even though I've never seen you. By the way, there's more than the "look" part of an image- you gotta have the talk if you're gonna have the walk. So, don't be afraid to explore other sides of yourself. I'm out.
