Lighten up you say? How far are we as Christians to go in this effort to lighten up?

I never did think it was o.k. to joke about sin. If Christ died for the sin of drunkenness (and he did) how can those who call themselves Christian laugh about it. We are no better than those who spit in His face.

I had the same question ("How far are we as Christians to go in this effort to lighten up?") with regard to the "Dumb Blond Joke", also submitted by the same person 11 days ago.

Actually, I see no problem with mocking sin. I think even Jesus did that. But I find both of these jokes in very bad taste.
