It was as though I had a cloud over my head last night, nothing turned out right. Have you ever had a day where just every single thing went wrong?

They usually happen on a Monday, and they happen often enough to be shorthanded to "ah fuck" days.

Oh yeah, and after a while on those ghastly days I -want- everything to go wrong so I can have the -worst possible day in the Universe!- Why fight fate?! Bring it on! It's like I'm daring the world to muck my life up to the maximum.Thank God that doesn't happen too often!

My theory is that once one thing goes wrong early in a day, it tips your life off-balance and it's easier for more and more bad things to happen.

I'M HAVING ONE RIGHT NOW!I've been summoned to a lunch meeting in Waltham at 12:30, and the only way I can get there is on the train, which leaves North Station at either 11:20 or 1:04. It's 10:51 right now, and I can't leave the office until a report that -must- be discussed at this lunch meeting prints out (the folks from whom I requested this report -two weeks ago- hadn't run it yet) and the system is slow today and taking -ages- to process it, and I don't have time to go home and get my cell phone, which I should have remembered to bring with me today, and if I miss the train, it'll cost a mint of money to take a cab to Waltham.
AND, when I was trying to make copies of the other report being discussed at this meeting, the third floor copier jammed and then would not understand that the jam was corrected, and then when I went to the fourth floor copier to make copies, it -RAN OUT OF PAPER- with only ONE copy left to go. There being no copier paper on the entire fourth floor, I had to go BACK to the third floor for more paper. It took me ten minutes to make six copies.
ARGH!

Ya, I had one of those days today. Everything just went totally wrong. I started out with a headache, couldn't reach my colleague to hand off work, biked to work coz husband (with whom I share a car) was already too late for work, overseas manager was mad w/ me, took an hr and a half to get a phone active, had a fight w/ colleague, and its just all downhill, I just know it!
