On the front page it states - Note: Old postings that have been deemed "not of general interest" are not presented above, but they are available to the full text search engine. If you want to see what you're missing, you can get a whole page of uninteresting postings.

Full text search engine? Huh? Can anyone explain this to me?

Actually, there are about a dozen options for the way the forum appears to the participants. Stephen just took the defaults for everything. He changes it a bit, the appearance will change.

Yeah, I had checked the option to display the post's originator, along with the time and date. I'll check that again.

I don't know nuthin' about no text search engine. Remember, I'm NEW here. :)
