We organise a Concert and Lecture series that feature various upcoming artistes and groups. For our 2001-2002 series , my director Dr.Cosmo Barbaro is interested in featuring an Indian Classical music (carnatic or Hindusthani ; vocal or instrumental )music concert.

Hello , I'm Anil Prabhu & i own a company entitled "Dancing Dolphin" based in Central New Jersey that's in the business of distributing music for the N.American territory. I've been in the music industry for approximately 13 years in Bombay & have been in New Jersey since the last year & a half. I have two answers to your question. Firstly, My guru, Sumitra Guha is a renowned vocalist in India. She is visiting US in Fall 2003. You may like to contact her about giving concerts or lec-dem. Secondly, I am also a classical vocalist and have been trained under my mother for 6 years and then under Sumitra Guha for 5 years. I am recipient of prestigious Sahitya Kala Parishad Scholarship from Delhi Govt in the year 1996. I have then performed in folk cum classical music in Norway and Denmark and the forde folk music festival in 1997 and 1998.I have also performed in ETV, India as a classical performer.I live in Princeton. I am a chemistry graduate student. I dont know what kind of performer you are looking for but I gave you info about both type.
