One of our two local PBS radio stations switched, about 3:58 CST, from election news reporting to ... U.S. Naval Observatory Master Clock time signals.

Never heard them do that before!

They usually broadcast BBC World News this time of night.

That was 28 minutes ago, and I just turned off the radio 'cause I couldn't stand it anymore.

"... U. S. Naval Observatory Master Clock ... at the tone, Eastern Standard Time five hours, twenty-five minutes, ten seconds *BEEP* Universal Time ten hours, twenty-five minutes, fifteen seconds *BEEP* ..."

Earlier tonight, ABC-TV News was displaying a list of undecided states and their electoral votes, totalling 74. Beside that was displayed: "Electoral votes: 76". Yes, I doublechecked the arithmetic -- it was on the screen several minutes.
