It is common in the posts on this board to reference "here". Down here, up here, over here. Here must be sorta hilly to account for the up and down. However, I have yet to see anyone say they are from the center of here. If you are from here, I would like to know where it is located.

Is "here" anywhere close to "around here somewhere"? If it is, I need to know so I can notify the Police. They are looking for "the imfamous DUDE".

Everyone who comes into the ER with their face looking like they kissed a chainsaw says, "DUDE hit me"! "Dude, run me off the road"! "I just walked out the door of this bar and this Dude hit me w/ a ball bat"!.

And when the cops ask where "Dude" would be found at, it's ALWAYS..."around here somewhere"

So, do your civic duty and find "Dude" and his hideout, located "around here somewhere."

If your coming from town, take 21 up Heck's Hill, past the corner that used to be Lower's John Deere place, to Westbrook's Corner, turn north, go to the old Case farm corners, turn right to the next road turn north and we're the first place on the east (the DeGarmo farm). This was the way we used to tell folks how to get to our place. Now few people know the landmarks or which direction is north or east. I think this way of giving directions is another one of those historical things that is going by the wayside. By the way, you start out in central Michigan.

Right now my "here" is in central NH, the beautiful -- touristy -- Lakes Region. Where much of the year local residents are outnumbered by tourists and summer residents. Hopefully next year my "here" will change to northern Maine, where there are more potato farmers than tourists (well, maybe!).

We're in south central Indiana, in Brown County. Nearby towns are such busy metropolises as Bean Blossom, Gnaw Bone, and Needmore! Hubby thinks it's gettin' a bit TOO crowded; he wants to go to Alaska; I want to opt for the hills of West Virginia, or maybe the Missouri Ozarks. But I doubt we'll ever move; our parents aren't gettin' any younger, and they live close by.

Since no one has asked the ultimate question, "Why are we here?, I will. I think this is because we are still trying to find out where here is (I think thats what we are doing) and defining that would probably be good before we answer why so may the saga continue from the center of there which is here - actually from the end of there or turn right following the t or could it be due east on the map (now I'm very confused about it all). For the record I'm not originally from around here but further west so would that be there? (Don't ya love it when people answer a quest with another?)

Right now "here" is Binghamton, NY. I recently bought land just outside of Hartville, Missouri. (Gosh, I like the sound of that!) I can't get there soon enough. Then, there will be "here", and if you see gail outside, you'll know you just passed my place!
