I have a vcd that is in chinese is there any way to play it or is there an application that can convert the files? The CD mounts as unknown and all the files are there but it won't open or play.

The only chinese vcds that you can play are the "original" or "copied from original" ones.. the only ones that you cannot play are the bootleg copies... you can play any vcds using windows media player..

Not quite true, Eric. Some original VCDs e.g. The Spy Who Shagged Me cannot play on Win Media Player. You've got to use Xing or some other player.
