It's a girl

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MAME Action Replay : One Thread

I know, a junk posting that has little to do with Marp or Mame but some of you may be interested.....

We now have a new daughter born 5 weeks early at 12:40 Sunday (NZT).

Mother is doing well and baby as well as can be expected under the circumstances.

Benjamin, Danielle and Aimee are really pleased with their new sister - although Benjamin was hoping to have a little brother to play with.

So, you won't be seeing me around Marp again for a while longer I suspect. Also gone is the slim chance of me entering T5 which I was recently considering doing. :(

Cheers, BeeJay. aka Fossil aka Patwos

Let me be the first to offer you congratulations, BeeJay! I wish you and your family all of the best on this beautiful moment. And hey, you're keeping some of us MARPers feeling young, too.

Best of luck!

Cheers, Q.T.Quazar

Such a shame for you to not identify yourself as it would help us to seek psychiatric counseling for you.

Such a clever e-mail addy...would have never suspected it was a fake.

Perhaps when you get the balls to ID yourself to us (and I doubt THAT will ever happen based upon your chickenshit post), we could let you know how little of a fuck we care about you, your dog, your mother and your life...not necessarily in that order. So, come on in to #marp on EFNet and let's discuss this.

Have a nice day,

Ray

Anyway, I wish the new life a happy future from the opposite side of the Earth.
Omedetou!(Japanese congratulations)
Junk posting? I don't think so. it makes everyone much hapier. at least than "CAT of FEVERON".

It's sad to see someone post a message similar to "friendly guy"'s, especially when the post is to celebrate another life coming onto this earth. BeeJay, congratulations! It'll be a shame not to see you in t5, but we'll understand :)

Sincerely,

J.D. Lowe

BeeJay,

From one Galaga friend to another, "Congratulations"! Marp will miss you temporarily, (hopefully not too long..) but being a full- time father AGAIN :) is more of a priority at the moment then playing video games. Hope everything went well, oh yea, and that mysterious post from that looser... well, I'd like to respond to Ray's message with these 3 words, Very well said. Were all friends in here even know some of us may seem distant from MARP for a while (like myself) we always know once we return after being dormant for a while, we're always welcomed back.

I can only presume Ray thought he was responding to some other posting because my email addy is valid and my nick is well known at #MARP - even if I haven't been around much recently.

If, however, he did intend to respond to my post then I'll treat it with the contempt it deserves and ignore it.

BeeJay.

BeeJay...it seems that someone has edited out the nasty post that came right before Ray's post. Ray was definitely incensed at the post (that is now not there!) and I'm sure it wasn't directed toward you in any way.

A hearty and sarcastic "nice going" to whoever edited this particular thread and left Ray's post hanging in the wind.

BTW...who *does* do the editing for this board?

BeeJay,

There was absolutely no animosity directed at you. Quite conversely, it was aimed at a response to your post that was way out of line. It appears that the response I speak of is no longer there for you to see. It was not nice and I will not repeat it here. To the person who edited that first post, I would appreciate it if you did your job properly and deleted my post as it now highly inappropriate for this thread.

I apologize publicly for any misunderstanding this has caused and hope you and your family are doing well.

BeeJay, My sincere congrats to you, and to your wife (who did the hardest job :-).

Hope the best from life and in health to your baby, and to your family.

Maybe, in a few years, we'll see our little girls (mine is 8 months old...) competing here at MARP.....

Ciao

Ray :- I've just read my mamester messages and have now seen the posting you responded to so your posting now makes a whole lot more sense. No offence was taken as your posting seemed so out of context I had already presumed it was not in response to my post. :)

Cheers, BeeJay.

For your information - I threw out that post - for obvious reasons. I rarely remove postings - but this had to be one of them.

Another comment: IP addresses are tracked on this board - so I have a very good idea as to who wrote that post. I'll take care of this person - unless this person wants to say something to the group...

I'll erase Ray's reply as soon as I get home from my substitute teaching assignment(this is written during planning - and the password is very complex.)

Sorry you had to deal with this BeeJay - it certainly was NOT deserved. GB9

CONGRATS Brian!!

I wish you all luck with your newborn little girl Beejay! A warm blessing from Sweden to you and your family my friend! (Even if Sweden is a rather cold place right now :)

All luck to you and your family and I hope you will be back for t6 :)

BeeJay,

Congratulations on that baby girl from Atlanta. We'll miss seeing you at T5, but taking care of that baby girl and momma is a top priority of being a "New Daddy". And as for 5 weeks early, my son came 9 weeks early, he's now 2 1/2 yrs old and is just as healthy as my 2 older girls.
